Using a VPN for privacy or a more stable connection does not usually get you banned. The risk comes from using a VPN to break a game’s rules, such as changing region to get cheaper in-game purchases, easier matchmaking, region-locked content, or to get around an existing ban. Many games prohibit this in their terms of service.

How to stay safe

• Read the terms of service for the games you play.
• Connect to a server in your own region when you play.
• Do not use any VPN to get around a ban or region restrictions.

The GamingVPN Terms of Service also prohibit using the service to break the rules of any game or platform.
